OPERATIONAL TRANSFORMATION LEAD FOR PE-BACKED BUSINESS

We partnered with a Platinum equity portfolio business, a leading provider of electronic equipment used in industrial markets globally, to help them find an Operational Transformation Lead. Working directly with the CEO, they had a significant impact on the business. The Operational Transformation Lead helped:

• Manage and optimise operational footprint project to agreed schedule and budget.
• Work with company team in operations, IT, facilities, and product management to move project forward.
• Identify roadblocks in timely manner and provide recommendations for resolution to Steering Committee. 

WHO THEY WERE LOOKING FOR

The Platinum Equity portfolio business were looking for an ex-consultant who had deep transformation and operational effectiveness expertise, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in top-tier consulting and/or transformation roles. Specifically, they should exhibit:

• Experience in site transition or post merger integration projects is required. 
• Experience and comfort in working with senior executive management.
• Skilled communicator and influencer; has the ability to listen, collaborate and partner with key internal and external stakeholders.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Ex-top tier consultant from Bain. 
• Deep transformation and operational optimisation experience.
